About this part
A snorkel moves the engine's air intake up to roof height, where the air is cooler, cleaner and well above any water you cross. On the coast it also keeps salt spray and beach sand away from the airbox. Safari makes the V-Spec in UV-stabilised polyethylene and the Armax in heavier steel.
The 2024 D-Max update changed the front styling, which is why there are separate bars for MY20 and 2024-on vehicles.
Fitting in Miami
The guard has to be cut to a template, so this is a workshop job. Fitting takes a few hours. We seal every joint and check the intake is airtight before the vehicle leaves.
